New Suburb Beautiful boundaries are roughly Morrison Avenue to the north, MacDill Avenue to the west, Prospect Avenue to the south and the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway to the east. [1]

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 841 people and 332 households residing in the neighborhood. The population density was 6,948/mi². The racial makeup of the neighborhood was 99% White, 1.0% African American, 0.0% Native American, 0.0% Asian, less than 0.01% from other races, and 0.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.0% of the population.
There were 332 households out of which 39% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 34% were married couples living together, 8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 6% were non-families. 21% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

Situated in the South Tampa region between Downtown Tampa and MacDill Air Force Base, the neighborhood is one of the smallest within the city limits of Tampa with 77 acres (310,000 m2) [3]. It is also located between Bayshore Boulevard and Dale Mabry Highway.
